Welcome NC, Wednesday morning, November 8, at RCR, beginning at 9:00 am. Join us for our Veterans Coffee at Richard Childress Racing, RCR Headquarters building 425 Industrial Dr. (Follow the “Veteran Event” signs). I will be there, along with the Richard Childress Racing and Veterans Bridge Home teams, for our Veterans Coffee event. Sponsored by Flow Automotive. Awesome coffee and Uncle Cheesecake pastries will be provided!
Our special guest speaker will be Gold Star Mother Amanda Ballard, who lost her Marine Corps son Jacob in Afghanistan on December 10, 2011,
We will also be remembering other Gold Star family members and those they lost. If you are a Gold Star family member, join us for the morning and invite other Gold Star family members you know.
There will also be recognition of POW’s and the over 81,000 MIA’s. Please reach out to any POW’s you know and invite them to join us.
Andrea Allard, Veteran and Director of Transition Services for the NC Dept of Military & Veterans Affairs will be catching us up on the mission of the NC Dept. of Military and Veterans Affairs
Tiffany Ashton, Nashville and movie recording artist will be joining us tor a patriotic musical tribute. Tiffany has supported our Veterans Coffee events for many years.
You do not have to register to attend this event. Please bring another Veteran, family member or friend with you. All Veterans, family members, Gold Star Family Members and Veteran supporters are welcome to join us. RCR Vets Coffee 2023 Schedule: December 13, We will be recognizing the Korean War Veterans and the Battle of Chosin and as always, December 7, 1941. Please consider bringing a new unwrapped toy to donate to our attending Marine Corps Leagues “Toys for Tots”. (We will have a full breakfast).
