Buddy Check Week - Partner Call to Action!

Buddy Check Week, a Strong Veterans Act of 2022 initiative, takes place October 16-20. During Buddy Check Week, Veterans are invited to complete peer wellness training and pledge to contact 10 Veterans. VA will provide online training, resources, and virtual forums to ask questions and share stories of Veterans connecting with peers and battle buddies.

Our goal is to improve mental health, support peer-to-peer networking, and increase access to VA health care and benefits. We encourage our partners to host their own peer wellness webinars, inspire their Veteran networks to reach 10 Veterans, and share VA's Buddy Check Week resources.
