Be a Part of History. Volunteer for the Inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open.
The USGA announced in January that Pinehurst Resort and Country Club would be hosting the Inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open Championship. This will be the most unique championship that the USGA conducts. The championship will be contested July 18 – 20, 2022, over 54 holes of stroke play on Pinehurst No. 6. It is open to males and females, professionals and amateurs, with either physical impairment, sensory impairment (vision), or intellectual impairment. The USGA requested that we recruit approximately 300 volunteers to assist with the Championship.
We are seeking Player Assistants and Spotter/Forecaddie volunteers. The registration fee is $39, each volunteer will receive a Championship uniform shirt, cap, commemorative water bottle, meal during their shift and thanks of these special athletes.
