Feb 10      Quarterly Feeding Independence – Charlotte VA HCC 10am-2pm

Please join The Independence Fund and our partners as we provide food and cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to veterans. 
 

Who: Volunteers partnering with The Independence Fund and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and Hungry Heroes as we provide food and cleaning supplies to area Veterans.
 
What: Drive thru event. Feeding Independence! Serving our Nation's bravest by providing items to veterans to help them be able to meet basic needs during challenging times. We will ask you to assist in loading food boxes and supplies into the Veterans vehicles, with the potential of limited deliveries.
 
When: Thursday, February 10th from 10am- 2:00pm
 

Where: Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of the South Charlotte VA Clinic at 3506 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC, 28208
 
Why: Many of the Veterans and Caregivers served by The Independence Fund have injuries that leave them immune compromised and susceptible to respiratory conditions. The Feeding Independence event provides these basic supplies that will ensure these American heroes have their needs met.
