Program Description:  The purpose of this virtual knowledge-based training is for providers to benefit from seeing that recovery is possible.  Hearing about a successful recovery story and resilience in action can help to re-energize providers.  The women Veteran population is increasing and currently are and will continue to be an important part of the Veteran community and an important part of VA.  Women are underserved, currently 70% of women Veterans don’t access care at the VHA. Women are less likely to be identified as a Veteran and their unique needs aren’t being addressed.
