3 hours of your time can help feed 600 hungry families.
The calendar may have changed, but not our commitment to help feed hungry families in the Charlotte Metro area. Our partnership with Loaves & Fishes continues.
Here are some changes for 2021:
Greyshirts of any age can volunteer at Loaves and Fishes; there is no restriction for over 65 due to Covid.
Can’t make it on a weekday? Join us on Saturday, February 6th.
No more emails to sign up! Go directly to the Loaves and Fishes website and sign up for a shift that works for you.
Bring family and friends (they also have to sign up on the L&F website and should be over 12 years old).
They need our "get s… done" Greyshirts now more than ever. Will you step into the arena and help feed people in need?
Our deepest appreciation goes to the 35 local Greyshirts and 9 family members who fed 5,155 people for a week, by packing nutritious food boxes at Loaves and Fishes in November and December 2020. If 1 of every 5 Greyshirts volunteered just 3 hours on a Monday between now and April 30th, we would feed over 10,200 people for a week. Loaves and Fishes fed over 25% more people in 2020 than in 2019 and the need is not expected to decrease.
