ONE LAST HIKE

Mission Statement:

Hiking 13 kilometers in remembrance of our fallen brothers and sisters who were Killed in Action in Afghanistan. This hike will pay honor to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

General execution:
Participants will be hiking 13 kilometers on sidewalk, security and safety vehicles provided. Water stops and coordination with volunteers in place within business’s agreement. Appropriate hiking attire required, all packs and rucks optional and determined by individual hikers.

Disclaimer:
This is not a political event. This mission is to honor and show remembrance for our brothers and sisters. US military branch flags and American flags acceptable; however, all other representation will not be allowed nor acceptable. Any hikers being uncooperative with this disclaimer will be dismissed from the event.

Logistics:
All hikers will be required to complete free registration through a coordinated Event Brite page. Waivers will be provided and signed for all hikers to accept any injury or accident is in no way the responsibility of the coordination team. Hikers will have medical personnel on hand to request assistance from, however; higher echelon care will require EMS assistance and such care will be subject to the decisions of individual hikers.
