The Veterans Night of Honor is an annual event, held the first Saturday in November at The Lamb’s Chapel in Burlington, NC and hosted by area students to honor Veterans for their dedicated service to our country. The Veterans Night of Honor began in 2016 as a class project for 8 students who had been partnered with 8 veterans and has grown exponentially. The program now includes a Patriotism Camp for students ages 5 and up, a Veteran Outreach Program, and a Care Package ministry that ships hundreds packages each year to deployed troops stationed throughout the globe.
Due to Covid restrictions, the 2020 Veterans Night of Honor will be like no other. This year we are unable to bring thousands of people together to celebrate, so we are taking the event to the community. On Saturday, November 7th hundreds of volunteers will blanket the community delivering a warm meal, a gift bag filled with goodies from local businesses, and a “Thank You Veteran” sign to more than 300 Veterans in the area. The show will air at 7 pm on Saturday, November 7th and we invite everyone to celebrate with us as we salute the brave heroes who have served in the United States armed forces.
