We are officially up and running for our Friday morning, November 13 “DRIVE THROUGH” Veterans Appreciation Lunch event (11:00 am till 1:00 pm) The meal is FREE to all of our Veterans and others in their vehicle. It will be held in the old Sears Parking lot at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem. I have attached the event flyer.
To get this event approved, I had to promise that everyone will remain in their vehicles while at the event for health and safety reasons. I am trusting my friends and fellow Veterans to do it for all of us. I know it is not what we would like to do, but it is a must. Please make that clear to others you talk to about attending. We will have:
A “Ball Park” style hot dog lunch with chips and a drink. “ Bolt” from the W-S Dash baseball team will be there as well.
We will be passing out the new NC Veterans Resource Guide and the VA Benefits booklet.
You will see the 2020 Version of the Freightliner “Ride of Pride” truck.
The first 20 cars will receive a special gift from High Point University. HPU will not be having their Vets breakfast event this year.

Please help get the word out. Because of Covid-19 health concerns, there is not a lot else going on diring Veterans Day week. It will be a chance for us to be “kind of” together again. Come and enjoy the morning with us.
