Team River Runner first event of the season will be on Thursday April 18th from 2000-2100 in the pool at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center. We are planning to go over some kayaking basics and safety procedures like how to get back in your boat if you capsize in deep water.  I would like to see anyone who plans on participating this season at the event so that I know your comfort level/ what you can help with. The address is 800 E M.L.K. Jr Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28202. The facility charges $5 for entry. 

(Note, this pool is open to the public for kayaking every Thursday night at the same time. )
