Tunnel to Towers Statesville Run/ Walk is honored to announce that we will be holding the November 9th Run/ Walk in memory of Mooresville Police Officer Jordan Sheldon, EOW May 4,2019. We would like to thank his family for allowing us to recognize Officer Sheldon's dedication and sacrifice to the community.
Officer Sheldon's family has started a scholarship in his memory at Mitchell Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training program to help students interested in pur...suing a career as a Police Officer. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will be making a donation, in his name, to this scholarship.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will also be presenting the National Footstep Award to his family in recognition of their efforts to remember Officer Sheldon's commitment and dedication to serving his community. We will present this award during the opening ceremony of the walk/ run on November 9, 2019 at 8 am.
