Second Annual Veterans Transition & Skillfest Event - April 21, 2018

The Chapter’s Veteran Transition event hosted last year was extremely well received. Accordingly, we will host our second event on April 21, 2018 at Cape Fear Hospital, Fayetteville, NC.  Veterans interested in learning more about Project Management as a career path should plan to attend as this event is open to all branches of the Military including: Active, Guard/Reserve, Veteran and Retired. We believe that the attendees will leave with the “ammo” necessary to help further transition from their current career path into Project Management. This event will also provide great networking opportunities.

The guest speaker for this PMI Metrolina event is the renowned author and speaker Jay Hicks.  Mr. Hicks is both a retired Vet and author of "The Transitioning Military Project Manager" series of books. His books have notably helped translate military experiences into civilian project management lingo, a valuable resource during transition.
