Day hike with Jess!

5000 whitewater Center Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28214

Leave from USNWC parking lot at 9 am. If willing, we would like to carpool as much as possible. Get to looking glass at 11:00ish. Eat bagged lunch at trail head.  Hike will take three hours.  There is a tavern we can stop at on the way out of the park. And then back to Charlotte by 6.  We can have dinner in Charlotte if people don’t want to kill each other.

I will provide gatorades and make bagged lunches for people who want to come and RSVP.  But they need to bring a liter of water, sunscreen, bug spray, hiking poles/shoes, wear a tech shirt (no cotton), and a positive attitude!  I will also bring a cliff bar for each person to enjoy at the summit.  Requests for flavors will be granted to those who RSVP two weeks in advance.

This is open to all ages and abilities. The park allows leashed dogs on the trails, however, this is very technical. Please research the trail to determine if your child and/or dog are able to handle this hike.
