QU4Troops' Dog Tag Dash

Saturday, October 13, 2018

08:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Myer’s Park Traditional Soccer Field

Queens University of Charlotte, Wellesley Avenue Charlotte, NC 28274
The Dog Tag Dash is a military-oriented, timed obstacle race designed for teams of four. This course will demand all members of each team to work together to overcome a variety of obstacles as quickly as possible. Physical strength and endurance will both be necessary in order to be successful in the Dog Tag Dash. Obstacles and strength tests, combined with sprinting and distance running will test each of you physically and mentally.

The goal of the Dog Tag Dash is to teach those who participate the importance of teamwork and communication, while also having fun. The hour before the adult races begin, children 15 and under are invited to run a shortened version of the full race with limited obstacles. Fun for the whole campus and the Charlotte community makes the Dog Tag Dash one of the most anticipated events at Queens this fall.

Featuring local food trucks, military recruiters and fun activities for families and children.
