Exploring North Carolina’s Role in The Great War: 100 Years On
NOVEMBER 12, 2017 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM 3500 SHAMROCK DRIVE
This event is rescheduled from September 17
Discover the details of World War I’s impact on North Carolina. Forgotten, overlooked, and unexplored aspects of our state’s history will be discussed and displayed during this half-day symposium hosted by the Charlotte Museum of History with support from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and UNC Charlotte. During breaks between each talk and during the reception, you’ll be able to see artifacts, hear the sounds of the time period, and read the words of Charlotteans who were impacted by the vast reach of the Great War.
The Charlotte Museum of History will cheerfully honor all registrations for the original date of this event (September 17) on the new event date, November 12. If you have tickets for the September 17 event and would like a refund, please contact Tracy Ryals at tracy@charlottemuseum.org.
